Nuevo Vallarta
Nuevo Vallarta is, as the word “nuevo” suggests, one of newer tourist developments in the Puerto Vallarta area. It is located just north of the international airport on the Riviera Nayarit in the state of Nayarit (the city itself is located in the state of Jalisco to the south). More and more people travel to Nuevo Vallarta Mexico as they discover the beauties of this part of the coast that has longer and wider beaches than anywhere else on Banderas Bay. Because of this, you will find many Nuevo Vallarta deals at a wide selection of luxury hotels and resorts.
Nuevo Vallarta covers an approximately two-mile stretch of pristine white sandy beach behind which a canal has been built that contains an extensive marina with berth for sailing vessels of all kinds. Here it is possible to charter boats for sightseeing cruises as well as scuba diving and fishing trips. This is the southernmost town on the Riviera Nayarit, with one of the longest continuous beaches on the entire coast. It is also the busiest Nayarit town, and full of large, mostly all inclusive hotels and resorts. You can also find timeshare properties for purchase as well as vacation rentals that include both condos and apartments
The Nuevo Vallarta deals available at these properties attract families with children who often prefer their vacations to be all inclusive, and who like the facilities, separate children’s facilities, and organized children’s programs. These properties also attract young people who travel to Nuevo Vallarta Mexico for spring break. These young people are also attracted to places that are all inclusive and many of them prefer to stay somewhere set bit apart from the famous boisterous nightlife to the south. Many of the Nuevo Vallarta hotels have rooms and suites that sleep a number of people, and the spring break crowd often travels in small groups. A place where they can share the cost of the room is very attractive. An example of a property like this is the Paradise Village Beach Resort, with one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites. It also and has a supervised Kids Club with organized activities.
Among the many things to do in Nuevo Vallarta is golfing. The beautiful Mayan Palace has a beautiful course designed by respected Nicklaus Design and set along the beach. This is the newest course in the area, which has several others, and it is one of the most convenient if this is where you’re staying.
Because many of the hotels here have large capacities, it is possible to find good Nuevo Vallarta deals even during the peak season. While there are many four- and five-star hotels, most of these have specials that make them cheap hotels, especially during the shoulder season of late spring and before about mid October. However, if you plan to travel to Nuevo Vallarta Mexico during spring break, you should make your reservations as far in advance as possible, as this area is full at that time. You might want to check on vacation packages that are apt to include your international airfare, airport shuttle, and maybe even some tours.
