All of the 213 guest rooms of Le Meridien Cancun feature views of the ocean and some have private balconies that are perfect for enjoying a sunset or a private dinner. Le Meridien Cancun Resort offers guests a choice between several types of rooms, ranging from 450-square-foot superior rooms to spacious suites ranging from 750 to 2000 square feet. No matter which room you choose, your room will be outfitted with either one king sized bed or two double beds, air conditioning, a sofa, desk, cable television with a DVD player, free daily newspaper delivery service, a refrigerator, telephone, and high-speed Internet access. Nonsmoking rooms are available upon request.
For guests who want a workout during their stay at Le Meridien Cancun, a large fitness center is available. Spa del Mar is a 15,000-square-foot luxury spa that offers services such as manicures, pedicures, facials, and massages at an additional price. It also offers saunas, inhalation rooms, and fourteen treatment rooms. On the upper level of the spa are several well-lit clay tennis courts that are available during the day and in the evenings. Racquets are available for rental.
Other things to do at Le Meridien Cancun Resort include swimming in one of three heated pools, relaxing in the Jacuzzi, snorkeling, or participating in scuba diving and deep-sea fishing excursions. A concierge is available to suggest other activities in and around Cancun, or to help you arrange trips to Cozumel, Chichen Itza, or the Tulum Ruins.
Le Meridien Cancun Resort offers several options for dining. Aioli Restaurant serves fusion style cuisine with a Caribbean twist as well as more traditional Italian food. Although the restaurant is moderately upscale, its dress code is casual. The restaurant is open everyday of the week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Another option for dining at Le Meridien Resort is Le Rendez-Vous Lounge, a hip and contemporary lounge that serves cocktails and light snacks to the tune of live music. The lounge is open everyday from 11:00 a.m. until midnight. If you'd like to dine poolside, head to Le St. Trop' Restaurant, which serves interesting cocktails and an array of international cuisine. The restaurant is open daily until 10:00 p.m.
